Description

The Cleanskin Chain Wear Checker is a precision laser-cut tool that is designed to accurately measure when a chain reaches a .75% or 1.0% of stretch which indicates a worn chain that is in need of replacement. It is compatible with all 7 to 12-speed chains.

Routine checking for chain wear can prevent problems with shifting performance, which will then prevent prematurely wearing out other components like cassettes and chainrings which are far more costly to replace.
