Whilst it is a wired setup it can still be installed on your mountain bike in a way that it has less chance of being ripped out by a branch. If you neatly wrap the cable around your front brake cable you can then run it down the fork leg to have a clean install. Out of the box, it comes with a single handlebar mount. It is compatible with 29" wheels too.
