Description

The original Helm fork impressed many riders with its stiff chassis, supportive feel, and a host of innovative features. It was a fork that liked it rough and performed best at high speeds under hard-charging riders.

The Mark II retains many of the great features of the original Helm, but Cane Creek has tweaked, tuned, and improved the damper and internals to create a fork with the ideal balance of buttery smoothness and support.

The fork is available in both air and coil sprung versions. You are currently looking at the coil-sprung fork.

35-45-55-65 lbs/in springs will be available aftermarket

Compression damper style technologies / adjustments: The MKII features a new compression and mid-valve circuit for increased support and control. A new SKF oil seal head and lighter weight damper oil reduce friction and provide a more supple ride-feel.

    Set and forget - get on ride

    I'm a set and forget kind of rider. Simple? Feels good? Easy to work on? Yes, yes and yes. I really dislike buying this shaft and this rod to customize the travel. Honestly, I hate working out this 'S' model gives you this and getting 'X' model gives you this. I mean come on...

    I can move this fork from a 130mm to 160mm bike when I upgrade. Feel like changing the geometry and running 'non' stock numbers on your bike? Don't worry, don't need to buy anything extra. Damper upgrade? Nope it's got the best one. Don't want the best one? Don't touch the extra dial.

    Now, don't get me wrong I had to buy a different coil spring. That's the only negative I believe for coil suspension. I deducted a star for that. The ribbon coil came with 3 springs choices! Come one cane creek...
