The Alpinestars Vector Tech Pilot is designed with MTB shredders in mind. With the aim of being lightweight and strong, it offers extra protection around the temple and nape in the event you do shred a little too hard. It features 19 ventilation openings, and a reinforced air scoop at the front, so not only will it keep you protected, but it will also keep you cool. It also includes an adjustable visor which can be tilted up for extra vision on climbs and has plenty of space to store goggles underneath it.
Who's this item for: Designed for Trail and Enduro riders, but could be used for pretty much anything other than DH.
Construction: Made from vacuum formed polycarbonate.
Rotational liner: The Vector Tech Pilot includes a MIPs (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) directional liner. Which can redirect energy and provide more protection in certain impacts.
Straps: Features a quick release chin strap.
Retention System: Has an adjustable dial retention system to get a perfect fit.
Ventilation: 19 ventilation openings, including the large air scoop on the front. This helmet will keep you cool even in QLD's summer heat (well maybe not, but its still very breathable).
Padding: It comes with a removable, washable and replaceable anti bacterial, quick drying comfort liner.
Weight: The weight is unspecified by Alpinestars.
