Recon Knee Pads - V1

These pads are designed to be ultra-light and comfortable enough to wear on every ride. So comfortable in fact that you'll barely notice you're wearing them and won't feel the need to drop them around your ankles or put them in your pack on the climbs. The padding is on the more minimal side of things but the Poron XRD impact foam stiffens up under impact which helps them punch above their weight with the level of protection they provide. Features: Lightweight / breathable sleeve construction made from lycra and stretch mesh Elastic on the calf and at top and bottom to hold in place Poron XRD impact foam is extremely flexible and changes state at impact. Recon pads weigh in at 148g in size Large. Note: Please take care as to not pull the knee pads up your leg from the top of the pads as you would a pair of socks. The material is not designed for this and may cause tears. Damage to the knee pads of this nature may not be covered by the manufacturer warranty. We recommend pulling up knee pads from the top and bottom of the pad with care, in a way that avoids stretching the mesh or damaging the stitching.
