Who's this item for: These are designed primarily with DH riding and shuttle days in mind. However, they are highly breathable for a hard shell guard and have been designed to be comfortable while pedaling as well.

Protection Style: They feature a mixture of protective elements. Hard plastic shields help protect from abrasions, while ventilated foam padding helps protect from impacts. They feature a dense forward facing chassis for extra shield protection. These elements combined offer certified level 1 impact protection.

Materials: The shields are made from fortified injection molded plastic. The chassis is made from perforated neoprene for breathability and they feature an elastic flex joint to maintain compression during pedaling.

Closure or Slip-on: They feature 2 hook and loop closure systems on the thigh and calf, with an additional strap for fine tuning and a silicone elastic webbing to prevent slippage.

Length of knee pad: They run from the bottom of the thigh to the top of the calf.

Protection level: These are a heavy duty level of protection.

Removable protective inserts for washing: No removable inserts.
