The 100% Fortis elbow guards feature hard shell protection with the (almost) breathability of a gel fabric guard. With abrasion resistance and level one impact protection, you will be ready to tackle anything you can point a bike down.

Who's this item for: These are designed primarily with DH riding and shuttle days in mind. However, they are highly breathable for a hard shell guard so could be used on Trail or Enduro rides as well.

Protection Style: They feature a mixture of protective elements. Hard plastic shields help protect from abrasions, while ventilated foam padding helps protect from impacts. Together they offer certified level 1 impact protection.

    Solid feel, protective, good fit, comfy but durability questionable

    Overall solid elbow guard in the protection dept.. feel safe and secure and good coverage of elbow and forearm. I like how the top strap opens up and expose the bicep area when taking a breather for cooling down when not pedalling. Can get a tad warm but by no means unbearable and I can ride for long periods on hot days (only when you stop it feels hot but just undo the top strap and it fine as I don't feel it when pedalling on the trails). However, the top straps on the elastic band on the base on both sides are starting to rip after less than 10 rides (me thinks 6). If only one side I may think perhaps it a manufacturing defect but both side i'm starting to think a design flaw. I love send it to a tailor to reinforce the top straps and hope the rest holds up. Hence 3 stars not 5 but for that issue.
