    Right Kit wrong Oring

Kit was excellent. Except it didn't have the o ring I needed. That's not to say one was missing, its more that the one I needed was to seal the body to the piston chamber. Which after more googling, I found a hand note on a drawing, that oring can't be replaced, you have replaced the whole body. So I threw the caliper in the bin and bought a shimano brake kit.

Solution to an annoying SRAM issue

Fixed the known issue of the SRAM Piston sticking due to hot weather that a lot of the Guide levers have troubles with. Removing the cir-clip (even with cir-clip pliers) took many profanities and an annoying amount of time. Ended up just bending it with a very small screwdriver to get it out. If you have not done this job before be prepared for the nasty DOT fluid, which can end up anywhere. Also note that a bleed kit is quite essential to complete this job. The winner in all of this is SRAM who is making a decent amount of $$$ from this convenient part failure. Shimano or any other brand of brake will be on my next bike.
