Description

Put simply the Shimano XT M786 Shadow Plus Rear Derailleur is designed to take abuse....
No matter what the terrain chain slap, dropped chains and missed shifts can be reduced by simply engaging the stabilising switch. This greatly reduces the need for a chain device to keep the tension on the chain.

The strong spring in the M786 means you'll experience smooth, precise shifting.

The RD-M786-SGS Shadow Plus rear derailleur is only compatible with 10-speed Dyna-Sys shifting components.

Number of gears: This is a 10-speed derailleur.

Max cassette range: 11-36t

Cage length: Available in both GS (medium), and SGS (long) cage options.

Jockey wheel tooth count: 11t with sealed bearings.

    You want the best shifting

    You want the best shifting and performing derailleur, get Shimano.. The clutch mech works really well at keeping the chain nice and tight whilst the shadow spec keeps in out of the way of obstacles wanting to rip it off it's hanger.. Highly recommended..

    Great derailleur. Stops almost all

    Great derailleur. Stops almost all chain slap and I haven't had the chain jump off once on my 2 X 10 setup which used to happen with my old non-shadow derailleur on some rough descents.
