Description

The Shimano HG40 is a 6/7/8 speed hyperglide chain from the Altus/Acera series. Features chamfered inner plates to optimise shifting perfrmance, quick and easy to use connecting pin, durable heat-treated rollers, pins and plates, and musroomed pins for unsurpassed side-plate retention.

    very nice chain

    these shimano hg-40 chains are very good,mainly suited to run on a shimano hyperglide 8 speed cassette,they last for a long time,highly recomended,.just keep your chain clean and lube it when needed,these chains are very easy to join or remove links and kmc make reusable quicklinks for these chains 7.3mm wide link,gear shifting is much faster with these chains paired with shimano hg50 hyperglide 8 speed cassette.
