Description

Designed specifically for e-Bikes and longer wear, Praxis's steel e-Rings are cold-forged from 4130 high-grade steel with a nice black oxide finish. Licensed and developed in conjunction with Mountain Racing Products, the Wave pattern tooth profile applies alternating lateral force to each chain link to actively retain the chain to the ring – going beyond narrow/wide implementations that rely solely on friction, while allowing room for mud, debris, and grit to escape.

The Wave design also wears more slowly than competing designs by spreading the load over larger surface areas.

Who's this item for? e-bike riders, especially those who ride harder than the average rider.

A number of teeth: 32 - 36T.

Mounting Style: 104 BCD - These e-rings are threaded. A male M8 CR bolt threads directly into this threaded e-ring for motor clearance.

Offset options: N/A.

Chain retention technology: Wave tech narrow wide.

Speeds: 10-12 speed.

    Stronger than original.

    Was easy to install and because it is steel, should last a lot longer than the ally original. The teeth have the SRAM X sync 2 shark tooth shape and this also assists with long life.

    Mad kit

    I brought this and installed it on my ep801 Shimano motor

    Absolutely no dramas with the motor recognising a 32 tooth chain ring

    Be aware! as I was not that the chain ring has threads in the bolt holes and needs to be orientated correctly.

    As it is designed to run in one direction only

    My EP801 is on a marin rift zone

    As such I've had to mount the chain ring on the inside of the spider to get a perfect chain line

    Best EBike Chainring available

    After being sold out everywhere for months MTB Direct’s notify me feature ensured I was able to get one as soon as possible and the wait was well worth it.

    Matched to my xx1 chain and cassette on a Specialized Levo the quality and fit was second to none, made easy with the threaded mounting holes. Shifting was spot on and being steel with the wave tech spreading the load perfectly it should hold up to the abuses generated by EBike torque.
