Who said modern day MTB cassettes had to cost the earth? Well Microshift are changing up the game with the Advent X CS-G104 10 Speed Steel Cassette. Boasting a huge 11-48T range, this cassette is the answer for anyone looking to upgrade or replace an old drive train. Just be sure to grab the Advent X Rear Derailleur and the Advent X Shifter to complete the set. Any 10 speed chain will pair perfectly with this as well.

Materials / construction: Steel and Aluminum. The bulk of the cogs are steel with the two alloy largest cogs that all sit on a full alloy spider.

Freehub mounting style: Standard HG Freehub.

Other component compatibility: This cassette is only compatible with Microshift's Advent X shifter and rear derailleur. (Linked below) Compatible with standard HG freehub bodies and 10-speed chains

Pros: Awesome value for a 10 speed cassette with a wide range.

Cons: It is kind of heavy, but for the price is justifiable. Not compatible with SRAM or Shimano.

    great stuff in the long term

    12 months ago I re -built my old but still superb Santa Cruz carbon Tallboy 29er with a Microshift drive train. I have done long 2 hour trail and gravel runs on this bike, 3 to 4 times a week. Minimal maintenance, I just keep things cleaned and lubricated. . I cannot believe how smoothe and crisp everything is still running. Fantastic stuff.

    Great qulaity and holding up well.

    This is genuinely a great cassette.

    Microshift has achieved a lot for the price. I would be happy to have their products on all my bikes into the future.

    This has fit well on my old 26er and just keeps going, even poor derailleur hanger alignment hasn't affected shifting. It just works.

    works well, always.

    Microshift make some awesome parts. The cassette fits well and shifts superbly, event when the Derailleur hanger isn't properly aligned.

    I have been using Microshift for a few months and love it.
