    Description

    Built on the hugely popular and reliable Pro 4 hub, the Hope Fortus wheels bring you the amazing build quality that Hope is known for in a bombproof package. Available in different rim widths to suit varying riding styles and tyre preferences, the Fortus consists of tough, tubeless compatible rims built onto Pro 4 hub with Sapim Race double-butted j-bend spokes and brass nipples. These are tough wheels that look and sound amazing.

    Who's this item for: Trail, AM, and Enduro riders looking for bombproof alloy wheels with amazing hubs that go BZZZZZZZ.

    The Fortus 26 is for Trail riders, the 30's are burly Enduro rims, while the Fortus 35 is for Trail riders running plus-sized rubber.

    Rear-Wheel:

    • Materials: Welded 6061 T6 aluminium eyeleted rim, steel double butted j bend spokes, brass nipples, aluminium hubs.

    What's in the box: Wheel, tubeless valve and tape included.

    Pros: Bombroof aluminium rims built up on quality hubs and with brass nipples. They are built to last and take a beating.

    Cons: Strength and durability does come at a cost. These are not the lightest wheels out there so weight weenies might want to look elsewhere. Loud hubs aren't for everyone. If you do find that they are too loud you can always pack some extra grease into the freehub to quiet things down a bit.

      A great wheel

      I wanted a second set of decent wheels so I could use the cheaper versions that came with my bike for road tyres. These appeared at a great price on MTB direct, so I jumped at the chance.

      The Hope Fortus series are a solid wheel and I think the sound is fine, so didn't see a need to pack them full of grease as mentioned in the description.

      I was stoked when they arrived!

      Hope setup is awesome

      This is got to be my favourite wheel that I've ever owned, I've been through a few and so far, after a month of testing, it's great. Strong rim and fast hub. The hope pro 4 hub has a unique sound that everyone can recognise when flying through the air. And it's fast, the hub is perfect

      I highly recommend this hope setup for downhill and dirt jumps and even just a day at the bike park with the kids. It's strong enough to take a big hit and nimble enough to pop out a trick or 2

      Just buy it!
