The Giro Gauge is more than just a mountain bike shoe, it's an adventure shoe. With SPD compatibility and an aggressively lugged rubber outsole, you will have the tools to take on the trail, on and off the bike. It has a nylon injected inner shank for improved pedalling power transfer and a durable yet breathable upper so you will always remain comfortable.
Who's It For: Riders after an all-purpose trail shoe that performs on the bike and in the dirt.
Pedal Interface: These are clip-in shoes.
Closure: The standard lace-up closure keeps things simple and offers a casual look.
Upper Materials: They feature a durable yet breathable synthetic upper with mesh inserts. The heel and toecap are reinforced for added durability and abrasion resistance.
Sole Materials: Has a two-tone rubber outsole with an EVA die-cut footbed.
Sole Type: They feature an aggressive tread pattern across the full length of the sole. They are designed to be used as both a trail walking shoe and SPD shoe.
Weight: They weigh 405gm (for a size 43).
Last/Width type: They offer a supportive athletic fit.
Pros: They are capable as both cycling and trail running shoes. The durable upper offers excellent abrasion resistance and the casual look means they can be worn on and off the bike.
Cons: The aggressive tread pattern may make it harder to clip in compared to some other shoes.
