Description

Spanish company Galfer has been making high quality, low-cost motorbike braking components for decades. They've recently stepped into mountain bike componentry and are delivering some seriously awesome braking parts.

These 'Wave' rotors feature similar cooling technologies found in the much higher load moto rotors but are optimised for use on mountain bikes.

Using a standard 6-bolt mounting pattern, and a standard 1.8mm thickness, these rotors will bolt straight onto any 6-bolt wheel and will fit in any disc brake caliper.

Features:

  • Pad surface cutouts keep the system cooler, by allowing air to pass through
  • Replaces any stock rotor without issue
  • Optimised for Galfer pads, however, standard pads work well too
  • Predictable and consistent
  • Anti-corrosion treatment to non-contact surfaces
  • 160mm - 99 grams
  • 180mm - 110 grams
  • 203mm - 140 grams

    Upgrade you didn’t know you need!

    I’ve run this rotor before and decided to give it a go on the rear paired with XT brakes. If you are after that STOPPING power and reliable braking feel; then I would 100% recommend this one. I’ve tried the same brakes with the Ice tech rotors and the galfer ones feel more powerful.
