Description

Nobody likes wearing bulky pads. They're uncomfortable, sweaty, and you probably won't want to wear them very often so they won't do you much good.

These slip-on knee sleeves are Dakine's lightest, lowest-profile, and most breathable pad so you won't have to battle with straps, and they'll pretty much feel like a cosy knee warmer once you put them on. The great thing is that they also more than pull their weight in the protection department with a CE certified insert and side protection and they're treated with Polygiene odour control tech so they won't get stanky too quickly..

With perforated DK Impact energy-absorbing foam technology, Cordura abrasion protection, and a pre-curved ergonomic fit these pads will save your skin if/when things go wrong out on the trail.

Who's this item for: These are a great choice for anyone looking for a low-profile knee pad for any kind of riding.

Protection Style: These are a slip-on soft shell pad. They rely on being sized correctly to work and will be soft and comfortable enough to pedal around in all day.

Materials: 100% nylon with Cordura abrasion resistant shell. Silicone grippers help them to stay in place.

Closure or Slip-on: These are a slip-on style pad so they don't have any straps.

Length of knee pad: The pads will cover a few inches above and below the knee cap.

Protection level: These pads offer light to moderate protection against impact and abrasion.

Removable protective inserts for washing: No, the pads aren't removable.

Pros: Light breathable design is comfortable and low-profile so you'll be be able to pedal around in them all day. Good compromise between protection and comfort.

Cons: Sizing is crucial. If you don't get it right they'll tend to slide down if they're too big, or be too uncomfortable if they're too small.

    Great Light trail Kneepads

Big improvement on my old Fox pads that drove me nuts pulling up all the time. Some people reckon to size up in their reviews? I went with the size chart and yes they are snug but not uncomfortable and will probably stretch after a few rides? Good thing is so far they stay put, decent coverage for average trail riding.

My first ride wearing these was last week and it went great. The medium size fits perfectly.

Best sleeve I've found for XC riding

Third time is a charm! I'm an XC rider who has taken to the bigger hills such as Derby and has been searching for knee protection that isn't too bulky, yet offers some protection. This is the one - a combo of lightweight and doesn't hinder the uphills, and protections so I don't need to overthink the downhills! Just need a dab of chamois cream to reduce the inevitable behind the knee chafing during longer rides.

    Good pads

A lot better than my previous Fox entry level pads. This one is thicker hence more protective, but still not enduro/DH level. Sizing is a bit tricky. I suggest get the next size up.

    Good item

Just nice to replace an old worn out knee pads. This is a light weight pad.

I suggest to get 1 size bigger as the measurement is underestimated.
