Description

The Code RSC is the new standard for hard-hitting, heavy-duty braking. SRAM added 15% extra piston power and 30% more volume in the lever reservoir, ensuring peak performance for the full run. With SwingLink and Lever Pivot Bearing technologies, the lever feel remains smooth and progressive, no matter how hard the pull.

Some people like the instantaneous power of a short lever throw, others prefer the feel of a longer throw. With Contact Point Adjust, you can pick the position you want your fingers to be in when your brakes are engaged. It’s a quick and easy way to customise the feel of your brakes without having to move the pads. It’s also a way to balance both brake levers to feel exactly the same.

Go deeper and grab more power.

Who is this item for: DH, Enduro, All Mountain, aggressive trail and heavier riders that require big stopping power and the extra adjustability of the RSC lever.

How many pistons: Four- measuring 15 and 16mm in diameter.

Material: Primarily alloy construction with some steel hardware.

Adjustment: The DirectLink levers feature tool-free reach and contact point adjustment.

Brake Type/Fluid: Hydraulic, they use Dot 5.1 fluid.

Which Pads: The brakes come factory with metallic pads for more power and longer wear life. You can run organic pads if you would like.

Mount: MatchMaker. This system will hold a number of SRAM trigger shifters, and RockShox controls as well.

Hose Length:

  • Front - 950mm
  • Rear - 1800mm

Pros: Big power on a budget. MatchMaker compatible helps keep your bars clutter-free. The brake lever is ambidextrous so they can be run right-rear, left-front easily if they need to be. Contact point adjustment on the lever allows you to dial in the feel to how you like it.

Cons: If you own an older AVID/SRAM bleed kit it won't work with the new Bleeding Edge bleed system. You can buy a Bleeding Edge adaptor for your existing AVID/SRAM syringes.

    Code rac

Best sram brake on the market! Plenty of power for all day gravity riding. Worth the extra money over the standard code R. Much better modulation.
