Description

The Works Components 1.0 Degree Angled Headsets are designed for people who wish to change the head angle of their bike to make it steeper or slacker.

Proudly machined in the UK from 6082 T6 aluminium with a black anodised finish, the headsets use sealed angular contact bearings and come complete with all parts required for fitment (top-cap, star-nut, bearings and crown race).

Headtube lengths are measured excluding the original headset. Your bike should have this info listed in the manual or in the geometry chart on the manufacturer's website.

Big change for a small outlay.

Easy install with a headset press. looking at the bike it didn't seem like much of a change but I can definitely feel the difference. Worked perfectly with my 2022 Giant Trance X Advance going from 65.5° to 64.5° in the low setting.

    The angle of the dangle.

Got the 1 degree Works Components angle adjust headset to steepen the head angle of my trusty steed from 63.6 to 64.6 degrees to experiment with a few things. It's a very well made bit of gear with good fitting instructions, it's achieved exactly what it's meant to, good stuff.

Great product. But measure your steerer tube.

Great product. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Relatively easy to install, just take yourre time and line it up properly. Yes, I put the bottom cup in backwards initially! :-( But wrked it out immediately.

Be aware that it adds extra rise. The top cup is much thicker than a normal headset. I measured it all before purchasing becuase I only had very limited steerer tube length and ended up having to use a shorter stack stem. Should be fine if you have plenty of steerer.

Great product although I might remove it. I'm not 100% concinced slacker is better for all trails. But that's not the fault of the product.

    Perfect to fine tune geometry

Ive used these on 2 bikes and to slacken the head angle. Precisely machined with high quality bearings and fittings and clear enough instructions to follow at home. Installs like any regular headset once lined up as per the instructions.
