Description

The SRAM - Avid Brake Mounts are genuine hardware to allow you to fit various sizes or brake rotor on your frame or fork. Available in different options to suit both IS (International Standard) and the more common Post Mounts.

  • Post Mounts bolt in towards your frame/fork.
  • IS Mounts bolt in perpendicular to your frame/fork.

To work out what size you need:

  • Check what size rotor your frame or fork is designed to natively accept (look up the specs)
  • Check what size rotor you want to install.
  • If you have 160mm mounts and want to run a 180mm rotor choose a 20mm increase.
  • If you want to run a 200mm rotor choose and 40mm increase and so on.

Each option includes all the hardware you will need to install the mount.

    Great that MTBD stock all these fiddly bits!

    Upgraded my fork and needed to change the caliper bracket, thankfully MTBD stocks all these fiddly bits that support all the various upgrades you can do to your bike!

    Works

    Got the 40mm bracket. Did the job to change from a 160mm rotor to a 200mm one. Good upgrade way more stopping power.

    Excellent option for running larger rotors..

    Excellent quality mount for those wanting to run larger rotors..Personally, I like to use matching components and these sync perfectly with my SRAM Codes..
