611 Ergowave Active 2.1 S-Tube Saddle

This is without doubt the best saddle I have had! I have had more expensive (big name)saddles , run of the mill saddles , but this is the best I have ever had. The only saddle that comes close was a Crank Bros 11 saddle. You can sit in it all day. 10 out of 10 . Don't look anywhere else, this is the best!!!

Now I had a good seat with the bike, the Specialized seat is very nice but perhaps better suited to a younger man, and doing a lot of downhill was taking its toll with numbness and pain.

I did my research on the Ergowave Active and the pressure relief is noticeable. Of course it works best with padded pants but even a short commute in thin pants is better now. I've also found there is a "perfect" position for the pelvic bones to rest and therefore receive the greatest support - again you know it when you find it - and I am now training muscle memory to find that spot from the get go.

Worth the purchase? Definitely?

The saddle provides good support and as advertised reduces pressure on the under carriage significantly. My back is also liking the “active” movement feeling more relaxed on longer rides. It also looks like a good quality saddle. If you have any saddle discomfort then look at one of these.
