Get the latest iteration of the XT brake in the four-piston variant, the M8120. This brake offers lightweight, high stopping power goodness. This is the caliper only, add it to your existing brake levers and you don't have to worry about new mounting standards with your cockpit setup.
The Shimano XT BR-M8120 is a four-piston disc brake caliper that builds on the success of the BR-M8020 and benefits from the trickle-down of technology from the XTR model. Four pistons provide you with huge stopping power but also have better modulation than the two-piston models. The calipers ship with both finned NO3A (resin) pads but they are also compatible with N0C4 (metallic) as well as the non-finned D03S (resin) or D02S (metallic) pads.
