    Beware !

    This genuine shimano tool needs another shimano tool to make it work properly! I managed to make this tool work with a large pair of multi grips. Then I ground a couple of flats into it and the multi grips work even better. I should've picked the Park Tool one as it had a hex on the end!!

    Perfect fit!!

    Had to buy the genuine Shimano tool after trying third party versions (Park Tool and Topeak). The non Shimano version seems to have slightly thicker outer walls, enough to make them not fitting certain chainrings (Canyon chainring in my case).

    Fits 2022 Rise Hydro

    Nicely made tool which fits the EP8 chainring locknut on my 2022 Orbea Rise Hydro. Combined with a Park Tool BBT-69.3 I can use a torque wrench to tighten the lockring.
