Available in 2 Versions, the Shimano SLX SL-M7000-11-speed Rapidfire Plus Shifting Levers sit proudly as the workhorse of the Shimano line up.

Shimano SLX SL-M7000 Rapidfire Plus Shifting Lever
Shifting on the SL-M7000 levers is taken care of by ergonomically designed Rapidfire Plus shift levers, allowing riders to downshift three gears in one stroke (11s version) and release shifts by the index finger or the thumb. This simple but incredibly useful feature also provides light and consistently stable shifting across front and rear gears.

Available as I- Spec II or Bar Clamp

I Spec II:

  • Only Compatible with I-Spec II compatible brake levers. (SLX 7000, XT 8000 or XTR 9000/9020 or newer) Not compatible with I-Spec A or I-Spec B Brakes
  • I-Spec II is an integrated mounting system for brake and shifting levers. It just needs one bracket which saves space, provides a cleaner optic and saves about 10g of weight. Furthermore the adjustability in horizontal direction offers an optimised individual setup

Bar Clamp:

  • Mounts onto a bar using a 22.2mm bar clamp. Can be run with any brand/model of brake.

What's in the box? Shifter, shifter cable, cable housing, cable crimp, and end caps.

    Qualitity shifter at a great price

    I used this to convert my gravel bike from drop bars to flat bars. Very happy with the quality of this Japanese made shifter

    Works better than the M8000 XT it replaced

    OK so the old XT was pretty worn out but I have no regrets with the SLX replacement. Accurate and reliable, and the included shift cable makes installation just so simple. Nice to have the option of shift indicator or blank cover too.

    Shifty bit of gear

    Great feeling shifter but be warned - it may lead to finger fatigue... sort of wish I purchased the XT shifter that features the double down to reduce the amount of finger clicks.
