Description

The Shimano AM702 Women's SPD shoes are versatile Downhill or Enduro shoes that offer exceptional pedalling performance and comfort. The robust toe cap and raised asymmetrical ankle collar offers plenty of protection from trailside objects as well as putting something soft in-between your ankle and your cranks. The sole is made from Shimano's "Original compound" that offers maximum grip and better durability. The Pedal channel offers stable shoe to platform grip when not clipped in.

Who's It For: Perfect for DH or Enduro riders looking for a protective SPD pedal.

Pedal Interface: These are clip-in shoes that are compatible with any brand of MTB clipless pedal.

Closure: Standard lace-up closure with an additional hook and loop safety strap.

Upper Materials: The upper is made from Mesh and TPU material which absorbs less water and dries quickly. This means better comfort for you and less stinky shoes.

Sole Materials: Made from Shimano's original rubber compound with EVA.

Sole Type: Features a full tread sole, with extra grip in the toe and heel.

Weight: 382g for a size 40.

Sizing Guide: Shimano fit pretty true to US sizes.

Last/Width type: The AM 702's feature Shimano's volume tour last which provides extra volume at the toe and across the ball of the foot for better comfort. They are equivalent to a 2E width.

Pros: Good level of protection and breathe well. Don't look too much like a disco slipper.

Cons: Might be a bit much shoe for longer XC or Trail type riding.
