Deore XT SL-M8130 Linkglide 11 Speed Shift Lever

Linkglide is Shimano's latest drivetrain system focussed on strength, durability and shifting smoothness. Currently available in Deore 10-speed and Deore XT 11-speed drivetrain systems, Linkglide will soon encompass a wider range of drivetrain groupsets and provide smoother and improved pedalling performance during shifting leading to less wear and slower degradation, improving performance across a broader usable lifespan of your drivetrain.

The Deore XT 11-sp shifter SL-M8130-R11 is compatible with Linkglide series 11-speed rear derailleurs only and is not suitable for use with traditional Hyperglide Shimano 11-speed rear derailleurs.

Shift down 3 gears at a time with the Rapidfire Plus which also allows you to utilise your thumb or your finger to upshift when you're on the gas with Shimano's 2-Way Release functionality. You can also have instant upshifts with the Instant Release mechanism releasing the shift cable as soon as you press the lever.

Who's this item for: Riders with, or purchasing a compatible Shimano Linkglide 11-speed rear derailleur. This shifter is not suitable for use with regular Shimano Hyperglide rear derailleurs.
