Description

The Shimano BR-MT500 Disc Brake offers reliable power and great value for money. The rigid caliper design gives stable braking performance and is perfect for all riding styles from XC to trail. The sleek 2 fingered style lever features a durable master cylinder and servowave technology for better braking control. One way bleeding means easy maintenance with Shimano's non-corrosive mineral oil. The lever is I-Spec II mount compatible for use with a range of Shimano shifters.

    Very good

    I absolutely love these brakes. They are sooo good for the price and really easy to put on and set up. They were soo easy bleed and they work amazing. It looks amazing on my bike

    A seriously good entry level brake

    My MT-400 caliper bit the dust so I thought I'd upgrade to a more robust solution and a nicer lever, and I'm not disappointed!

    For the price, they have great modulation and are slightly more powerful than my previous brakes. Best of all, I can upgrade the front caliper to a four pot at any time for extra braking capability!

    Good brake at a good price

    These brakes are as good as any 2 pot calipers I believe. They are a good choice for good bite and handle is a good size for 1 or 2 fingers.
