Description

The Shimano BR-MT500 Disc Brake offers reliable power and great value for money. The rigid caliper design gives stable braking performance and is perfect for all riding styles from XC to trail. The sleek 2 fingered style lever features a durable master cylinder and servowave technology for better braking control. One way bleeding means easy maintenance with Shimano's non-corrosive mineral oil. The lever is I-Spec II mount compatible for use with a range of Shimano shifters.

Material: The lever body and caliper are made from aluminium.

    Would buy again ohh I have.

    Repeat customer buying this brake set upgrading from mechanical to hydraulic disc brakes. Easy install and enough stopping power to pull me up without throwing me off. Don't take my word for it just buy a set yourself and see.

    Giant Reign III

    I have slowly but surely been rebuilding my 15 year old Giant Reign III with parts from MTB Direct, all of which have been great, good quality, and delivered promptly. From new Shimano disc brakes, all types of bearings, hand grips and tools. The technical help the team from MTB Direct has been second to none, no fuss and accurate.
