This spoke ruler works with straigh-pull spokes too with the holes cleverly shaped to position your straight spoke at the correct 'start' location dependent on how thick it is.

The spoke ruler also has gauged holes to help you determine what sized ball bearings you have, or what sised crank cotters, bolts or other round things you might need to measure.
