Description

The Race Face Aeffect R 30 Rear Wheel has been updated for 2021 to beef it up to better handle all kinds of Enduro and all-mountain punishment. Consisting of a burly 30mm wide, offset 6069 alloy rim laced to the new Trace hub, these are tough and durable wheels that are designed to go the distance.

    Very much value for money

    A great wheel for good value. I have had a few hard landings and the wheel has taken it like a champ. not the lightest rear wheel out there but the price makes up for it.

    I wouldnt buy again

    After about 4 weeks of riding, 7 -8 very loose spokes and wheel out of true. I understand that alloy wheels and how your ride will obviously impact the wheel, but i had no major incidents, no dents, have run higher than i'd like pressure and DH casing tyre and still the wheel has started to fall apart. I would say for a $400 wheel i'd expect better quality build. You may need to price in another $50 to take to a good wheel builder and have it tensioned and dished before you start riding with it.... overall i wouldnt buy again.

    Good Solid Wheel

    Nice and strong - havent been able to dent it yet - so i'm happy. Hub seems solid.
