Loam Grip

The PNW Loam Grip and Loam XL Grip share the same DNA — ultra tacky compound, ergonomic patterning, and a focus on keeping hands comfortable through long and rough descents — but each caters to a different preference in grip diameter and feel.

The standard Loam Grip is built for trail to downhill riders who want a balanced blend of grip and longevity, comfort and control. Their 25a 'Happy Camper' rubber compound is tacky without burning through quickly. The dual-zone pattern features a thicker outer mountain pattern for palm cushioning and support, paired with a wave-patterned inboard section for vibration damping and thumb grip. A subtle flange sits at the clamp for added slip protection, sized thoughtfully so it does not interfere with thumb access to shift or dropper levers. The grips cover and enclose the bar ends and average 30mm in diameter with a slight taper toward the inboard clamp. At just 90g per pair, they are an efficient option for riders who want premium feel without bulk.

The Loam XL Grip takes everything riders love about the Loam and sizes it up for those who prefer a beefier feel in hand. The ultra tacky silicone rubber compound is paired with multi-zone ergonomic rib patterns designed to support the palms and reduce fatigue from trail chatter and long days in the saddle. The reinforced capped end maximises the available grip zone, giving more room for the hand, while the wide single clamp sits behind a subtle inner flange for added security — holding bars firmly in place through rough terrain. The XL steps up to 34mm of diameter and comes in at 120g per pair, making it the choice for riders who want a larger, more substantial grip without sacrificing the tacky performance the Loam range is known for.
