Description

The Northwave Hammer SRS is a high-performance offroad shoe with an ultralight cut, seamless Biomap construction, and SRS (Slim Ratchet System) fastening system with asymmetric Velcro straps to keep the foot in the place, transmitting energy directly to the pedals without losing any energy.

Who's it For: This shoe would be a great choice for XC, Trail, Gravel, and CX riders

Pedal Interface: Clip in. Suitable with any brand of MTB cleats.

Closure: SRS (Slim Ratchet System) fastening system + Asymmetric Velcro straps.

Upper Materials: Ultralight polyurethane with Biomap construction

Sole Materials: Speed Light Carbon 3D sole

    Great for gravel

    Excellent fit (I take a 43EU in most shoes) and comfort. The buckle system is solid and the sole feels stiff and bombproof. The bright orange might not be to everyone's taste, but I'm not complaining as I got them at a greatly discounted price and the fluoro is great for visibility if I'm on the road heading to my favorite gravel tracks.

    Stoked!!

    These shoes look great and are pretty comfortable. Very good $ value. One thing I’d recommend to future buyers, is to consider buying one or two sizes bigger than what you’d normally fit. I’m 99.9% of the time a size 8 (42), but with this brand I needed to go to a 43 size. But MTB Direct were very helpful and easy to deal with in returning items.
