The Hellkat is designed for maximum grip and confidence in the most demanding and challenging of gravity trails. The new RSR dual layer compound aids cornering control and boosts tread life.

The AEC and the AGC both use a 3-piece aramid insert in the casing to beef up the support and protection from the tyre. The AGC has an extra apex along the bead to increase burp and pinch flat resistance.

Who's this for: Gravity riders wanting to blitz down the crazy stuff and not fear for lack of grip and support from their tyres.

Suggested terrain: Loose, medium, loose over hard, and wet, in the steepest places you can find.

Which tyre: Perfect on the front and rear of a DH bike, but maybe too much for the rear of Enduro or All-Mountain bikes that have to be pedalled back up to the top. The Nevegal 2 or a Helldiver would better suit the rear of an All-Mountain bike.

Pros: The harder you have to brake to survive, the better this tyre will help you out.

Cons: Knobs may be too long for those asphalt-like hardpack trails.
