Description

The Ion Scrub shoes are not your average flat pedal shoe. Featuring Ion's Pin Tonic 2 sole, this new outsole profile features positive threads in the forefoot and heel area for perfect traction while pushing or carrying your bike. There is also a negative profile on the other hand which offers perfect grip and space for the pins while riding. Combine that with the tacky rubber compound and toe zone protection with a comfy EVA mid and insole and you have a great shoe that is ready to tackle the trails.

Who's It For: Any rider looking for a classic flat pedal shoe with exclusive features like toe protection and a super tacky and durable sole.

Features: They also have ToeTal Protection & Pre-Shaped Heel Reinforced toe caps to absorb and protect against force when impacted. Pre-shaped heel cup for great comfort and precise fit to guarantee superior heel hold.

Pedal Interface: These are flat pedal shoes with plenty of grip.

    Sole pattern is oddly sticky

    I have been riding these shoes against Etnies Maranas on a "every other day" basis, and I like them. Like the Etnies, they are are sized small compared to the average Aussie Blunny, so err on the large side. They also feel quite narrow in the sole (that's when you get the correct size) but with a bit of wearing in, they coome good. The sole pattern is a ripper, and engages with pedal pins in a suprisingly direct way. Reminds me of '90s Powergrips, lol.
