Description

Ion have done it again! Improving upon their renowned Scrub AMP shoes with updated features. This time around Ion have focused on the sole, coined Pin Tonic 2. This new outsole profile features positive threads in the forefoot and heel area for perfect traction while pushing or carrying your bike. There is also a negative profile on the other hand which offers perfect grip and space for the pins while riding. Combine that with the tacky rubber compound, reinforced ankle pads, and toe zones with a comfy EVA mid and insole and you have a killer shoe that is ready to tackle the trails.

Who's It For: These shoes are made for those that love the gnar and need a burly shoe to tackle the trails.

Features: They also have ToeTal Protection & Pre-Shaped Heel Reinforced toe caps to absorb and protect against force when impacted. Pre-shaped heel cup for great comfort and precise fit to guarantee superior heel hold.

Pedal Interface: These are flat pedal shoes with plenty of grip.

Closure: Standard lace-up design.

Upper Materials: Upper: 65% Textile, 35% Synthetic, Lining: 100% polyester with 40% recycled content, Lace: 100% Polyester.

Sole Materials: Footbed: 30% Polyester, 70% PU Foam, Midsole: 100 % EVA, Outsole: 55% rubber

Sole Type: The new ION outsole, Pin Tonic 2.0, offers new profile structure & Rubber compound for durability and grip.

    Ion scrub amp flat shoe review

    Super stoked with these riding shoes...definitely a game changer in my riding and the grip is awesome! Sizing on point alsothanks mtb again! Yeeew

    Best money I’ve spent

    Splendid experience, quick and easy , picked out the shoes I was after followed sizing guides and charts , pressed order button and bam! They arrived in a few days , looked great fitted well laces were already put in shoes so tied them up and went for a pedal in the mountains, amazing grip looked sweet and did the job I wanted , great support and comfortable and no blisters,

    Best thing I’ve spent my money on in a while

    It was a splendid experience, quick and easy , picked out the shoes followed the sizing guide, clicked on the order button and bam! they arrived in a few days , looked heaps good laces were already put in just had to put my feet in the new shoes tied up the laces , awesome fit so I went for a pedal up in the mountains amazing grip comfortable and feel like your ankle has some support and didnt get any blisters, great service and delivery from MTB direct

    Best money I’ve spent in a while

    It was a splendid experience, quick and easy. Checked out relevant sizing info, followed measurements, clicked on the order button, and bam they arrived in a few days. They fit great, look sweet! Tied up the laces and went for a pedal up in the mountains, really impressed! Great grip, comfortable and no blisters, highly recommend MTB direct
