Description

The hard-hitting member of the Goodyear gravel family, with a tread pattern designed to excel in off-road terrain, with widely spaced blocks to aid grip and forward drive in wet or very loose conditions. The Ultimate, Tubeless Complete features a Multi-compound material layer which is added to the tyre casing, allowing for improved air retention while providing additional puncture and cut protection with minimal weight increase.

For Peak Performance. A round profile, closely-spaced tread, and supple casing contribute to Peak's low rolling resistance, while ample traction and braking performance are delivered thanks to siping on every knob and its multi-dimensional Dynamic:A/T compound. Optimised for hard hitting gravel terrain.

    Tough upgrade

    I needed to replace my tired old rubber when a chain jam left me fishtailing down some steep bitumen, burning through to a total blowout. This sucker has already proved itself on another steep section bringing me to a grippy turn and burn, avoiding another near miss (this time without the lockup). So far so good👌

    Just average

    Nothing particular wrong with this tyre, other than it's just nothing special. The good, they hold air tubeless well and the cornering grip for this style is good. Haven't had any punches in them.

    Average, they aren't fast rolling for an XC tyre. They wear quickly until about 40% tread left and then they appear to wear slightly slower. Perhaps because there is less pronounced knobs to wear out.

    It's probably best used as a light trail riding tyre, definitely not XC racing.

    Good and fast, but a little heavy for an XC.

    Great tyre and feels very reliable.

    It does seem a little heavier coming from a Rekon Race 29x2.25 but seems to be holding up really well.
