Fox Seal Driver Tool

This pricey bit of kit is a necessary evil if you wish to install dust wipers without damaging them. It fits the seal on it perfectly, and it sits nicely in the fork outer tube to help get the alignment right. With the seal sitting in place I was able to drive it home by tapping on the head of the tool with a hammer. Worked first time, didn't need to buy more dust wiper seals. Once you've bit the bullet and bought the tool you will have it for life. The only down side is if any future fork you own isn't the equivalent Fox model (in my case the Fox 32), then you'll need to buy another seal driver tool.

This tool is a must have if you are installing the new type of Fox Forks dust seal. I am a Fitter by trade and have installed many seals using sockets and plates, but I guarantee that you will not install the new Fox seal correctly or without damage without this tool, as the new Fox seals have a metal outer shell not rubber like the original seals. Do youself a favour and purchase this tool if you are installing the new Fox fork seals, the bitterness of a damged seal will last longer then the purchase price of this tool.

This tool is very expensive for what it is, but makes the job of changing seals so easy. After watching YI'm outube videos, and seeing my mate fail spectacularly with his PVC seal driver, I decided to spend the cash and buy this tool. I'm glad I did. What took my mate half an hour, and many swear words, took me half a minute, with a perfect job done. Just slide the seal onto the driver, insert into the fork, couple of taps with a hammer and its seated. No leaks, no fouling on the fork brace, it just works. If you are servicing your own fork, buy this tool!
