Fox Fork Axle

Fox replacement front axles to suit Fox Forks.

We get it, axles go missing, get damaged, maybe even break. There's nothing better than a genuine Fox Racing Shox replacement axle for your beloved fork.

For the most part, the standard QR and Kabolt are interchangeable as long as you buy the model suited to your hub width (Boost or non-Boost).

On forks prior to 2021, the position of your QR lever could be managed relative to your axle tension by rotating a threaded insert on the drive side leg of the fork. This would change the angle that the QR would sit when fully engaged allowing you to keep it horizontal or aligned with the fork legs. From 2021 Fox has removed the preload adjustment hardware from the drive side of the fork. Newer QR axles to suit these new forks have a 4mm hex to adjust the pre-load on the axle before the QR is engaged. QR axles prior to this have no way of adjusting the tension relative to the QR position. If you have a 2021 or later fork and want a replacement QR axle, it's best to stick with the 2021+ QR unless you want to swap to a bolt-up axle, in which case you can use the standard Kabolt.

2021+ 36 and 38 forks with pinch-bolt axles must only use KaboltX type axles.
