    Great upgrade

    Definitely a good upgrade from the saddle that came with the bike (Cube Stereo electric) much more comfortable for the commute. One thing I hadn’t thought about was you can get this further back than the stock one, which makes the ergonomics better as I’m 190cm. Would recommend!!

    Good fun but as comfy as I expected

    Previously, I was using Specialized's Body Geometry saddle, and it was a disappointment. Even after just 5 km, with padded shorts, I found myself needing to take a break. I opted for the L size due to my thicc butt. Unsure if it needs breaking in, on a recent 30 km mtb ride, I still experienced discomfort. For comparison, my Brooks Cambium C17 handled 70-100 km on gravel without padded shorts, and I had no issues. Additionally, I had read concerns about the L-sized saddle interfering with movement during steep descents, but I didn't encounter any problems in that regard.

    Not too wide, ideal for longer rides on older bones

    Comfortable for longer stints in the saddle, but enough wiggle room to be well out of the way without having to reach for the dropper every 10 seconds. Quality piece of kit, this is the second SMC I own, and happy to recommend to anyone looking for a better fit.

    Really sleek design good for both fully raised and low seat positions

    Really enjoy the saddle. I have a 170mm dropper and this seat is great for both fully raised and lowered seat height. I only receive a small amount of discomfort on really long climbs on the crease of my leg due to the larger back of the saddle. This could probably be adjusted out with a tweak to the rake of the seat.
