Replace your standard DU bush with Needle Roller Bearings. They will significantly reduce the friction as your shock pivots allowing for smooth operation and increased sensitivity. They are easy to install with the right tools and are available in various sizes.

    This is the second one I have put on my Nomad.

    They are great and very low friction. They do develop a very small amount of play more quickly than a traditional bushing, but it is not noticeable riding, until it is really bad.

    Would recommend, but if you are the type to spend an hour in your garage gently picking the bike up and feeling for minute amounts of play then it may not be the thing for you, stick polymer bushings.
