Description

DT Swiss Competition Spokes are some of the most versatile spokes in the whole DT Swiss range. The cold forging increases the durability of the spokes while the double butting reduces material where it's not needed to reduce weight without compromising the strength of the wheel.

    Second-best spokes

    Ok. Got a demand for a review on DT swiss Champion spokes. A product that has been around for decades ( many),

    Considering I usually only use Revolutions and these are Champions I was very disappointed that is has become impossible to buy the best spoke on the market, so I made do with the second best.

    They work, they are available, and have good nipples .

    They are heavy and produce a fair bit of resonant noise ( unlike revs). They are less reliable than Revs, but more reliable than most other spokes.

    Given a choice ( which we aren't any longer) I would use revolutions over these.

    Wish they were available in silver ( they weren't at the time), as I hate black spokes.
