Description

The Dakine Mayhem Knee Guards are designed for aggressive riders who love to shred wild trails and gnarly descents but still want a pedal friendly knee pad. Utilizing adjustable thigh and calf straps this guard will remain in place whilst still offering excellent mobility. There is a skid plate with extra foam padding which disperses impacts that is surrounded by perforated neoprene that has excellent breathability to keep that airflow coming.

    Got these for big mountain days.

    Comfortable and I feel protected.

    Haven’t had to test them in a crash but feel like they will do the job.

    As one other reviewer said -one size bigger than normal.

    I’m normally a medium and went the large and they fit perfect.

    These knee pads are the bees knees. Fit true to size and could handle anything. The best part… the team at mtb direct advised me of them.

    The best knee guards on earth

    Finally a knee guard that doesn’t use the slow rebounding foam garbage everyones using. The D30 etc is terrible in an impact as it goes hard transferring the entire impact straight through your knee. Give me a hard cap with padding behind it and its a win.

    These have a killer hard shell, great padding behind it to protect your knee completely, they hinge at the upper to ensure everything stays in place, upper shin protection, they never ever move, they seem bulky but are not at all when riding. They’re light compared to my fox launch pro d30 (without the cap). In my opinion these are the best protective knee guards money can buy.

    Dakine please make a corresponding elbow guard.

    I got the medium and the fit is quite tight but theres heaps of room for them to stretch and still have plenty of adjustment to account for the stretch
