The Heat Treated wrench combines the two key tools that are required for removing and installing a cassette. The chain whip is housed within the handle of the freewheel wrench. This makes it easy to store and ensures you always have both of the tools required for the job handy. Perfect for use with 7 to 12-speed cassettes.

The freewheel tool also doubles as a centrelock rotor removal and installation tool!

Cassette compatibility: This chain whip will work on 7-speed freewheels all the way to 12-speed mega cassettes.

    Works well for the home mechanic

    The tool feels and looks cheaply made. The socket head is a bit loose on the handle which doesn't really affect its usability. I initially had concerns but I got my 12 speed cassette off. The chain is a 7 speed and it just barely fits on a 12 speed cassette. I knocked the centre pin out which isn't required so now I can use it to open my RockShox air fork.

    I think this is a perfect tool for someone who only swaps a cassette once a year. Can't imagine it would hold up in a workshop.
