Description

These posts make great enhancements to gravel or mixed surface bikes by reducing the chatter transmitted from the surface to the rider and can be tuned to rider weight through a simple elastomer change. #5 elastomer comes pre-installed, other weight elastomers are sold separately.

Based on their proven parallel linkage technology found in the Thudbuster and eeSilk suspension seatposts, the aluminium eeSilk+ provides 35mm travel and is equipped with updated stainless steel pivot axles, and stainless steel hardware. Weighing in at 373g (27.2) with a 387mm post length.

Minimum Extension - 80mm

Maximum Extension - 287mm

    Smooth as Eesilk

    I purchased the Cane Creek Eesilk suspension seat post for our Cannondale T1 Tandem. this seat post is used in the stockers position and is hardly noticeable over small bumps etc, hence we know that it is doing its job. however this product is rather expensive, we only bought it because my wife fractured here S5 sacral, and wanted to ride on the tandem again. So it does its job well enough that on small bumps my wife does not feel any pain.

    Works well.

    These seatposts certainly aren't cheap but they aren't cheaply made either. They are solidly built, relatively light and work well. I have this eeSilk Plus on a hardtail mountain bike and it definitely takes the edge off bumps. Surprisingly there is no other feedback I notice. The ride is a little smoother and other than that, I don't notice it's there. It's really well engineered and as an older rider I like the added comfort for my aging bones.
