The new Bryton Rider 420 GPS Cycling Computer offers riders absolute precision with the built in GNSS receiver for exceptional GPS accuracy. This feature packed computer offers riders an incredible amount of data to pull apart. This IPX7 waterproof rated unit utilises Bluetooth 4.0 for it's optional sensor connections and has an epic 35 hour battery life. It will notify you of incoming calls, texts and emails and supports up to a whopping 77 functions.
Who's this item for: Any rider that likes to record their rides and keep track of the data accumulated from them. Perfect for riders who use Strava, TrainingPeaks or Selfloops.
Connectivity: The Bryton Rider 420 utilises Bluetooth 4.0 for device connections. It will automatically adjust the data fields displayed when BLE (Bluetooth low energy) sensors are detected. Even better, when a sensor is running low on battery you will get a blinking notification on the display reminding you to charge it or replace the battery.
Functions: Heaps of them. The Rider 420 has support for up to 77 functions in total including: speed, time, altitude, advanced follow track, heart rate, distance, cadence, temperature, energy, auto-pause, power meter, heading (Compass Mode for pointing to the North and the Map Mode for pointing to current direction). The Rider 420 will also accommodate 2 separate bike profiles.
Notifications: Yes, it will notify you of incoming text messages, emails and calls.
Associated phone app: Bryton has there own app called Bryton Active App. You will use this for any and all firmware updates as well as display customisation.
3rd party syncables: For sure. The Rider 420 will auto sync through your Bryton Active App to Strava, TrainingPeaks, Selfloops by connecting your accounts. No software is needed to convert files. Workout files are automatically saved in FIT format, which can be uploaded to popular training sites.
