Direct to Derby Competition – Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter The promoter of this competition is MTB Direct ("the Promoter").

2. Competition Period The competition commences at 9:00am AEST on Wednesday, 10th September 2025 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on Tuesday, 22nd October 2025 ("Competition Period").

3. Entry Eligibility

• Entry is open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over.

• Entrants must submit their entry via the form on www.mtbdirect.com.au/pages/derby-giveaway

• Only one entry per person is permitted.

• Entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be deemed invalid.

• The Promoter has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant.

4. Prize Details

The $15,000 prize includes:

5. Prize Conditions

• The prize is valid for travel on specific dates to be decided in agreement with the prize providers and subject to availability.

• The prize is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and not for resale.

• Travel insurance is highly recommended and is the responsibility of the winner.

• Any injuries sustained while undertaking prize activities is the sole responsibility of the winner and travel companion.

• Winner must be aged 18 or over. Travel companion can be 18+ or under 18 if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

• It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure valid identification and any necessary documentation.

• The itinerary will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

• If the winner does not take up the prize at the nominated time, it (or any part of it) will be forfeited.

• The itemised prizes are subjected to availability at the time of the dates chosen by the winner.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

• The winner will be randomly drawn and notified in writing within seven (7) days of the draw via their email. It is the winner's responsibility to check all inboxes include spam or junk inboxes.

• All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winner.

• The winner will be announced publicly at Sea Otter Australia, and published on mtbdirect.com.au.

• The winner will be notified via email and phone.

• The prize must be claimed within 7 days of announcement. If unclaimed, a redraw will occur.

• The redraw winner will be notified by email within two (2) business days and published on mtbdirect.com.au in the terms and conditions.

• The winner and their companion must travel from the same destination.

7. Entry Conditions & Disqualification

• The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

• Entries that include objectionable content, profanity, defamatory or inflammatory material may be disqualified.

• The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual suspected of fraudulent, deceptive or damaging behaviour.

8. Liability

• The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues, hardware or software failures, or issues with connectivity that may affect entry or the administration of the competition.

• If the competition is unable to proceed as planned for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition subject to any written direction from relevant Australian regulatory authorities.

• The giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

9. Privacy

• All entries become the property of the Promoter.

• Entrants' personal information will be collected and used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition and for marketing purposes.

• By entering, entrants agree to receive email communications from MTB Direct and Blue Derby, including marketing messages related to their products and services.

10. General

• Each prize will be awarded to the person named in the entry form.

• Entries made on behalf of another person or by third parties will be invalid.

• In the event of a dispute, the Promoter reserves the right to determine the identity of the entrant or winner.

• The prize is a single event for the winner and their guest and cannot be separated into different components.
