Dropper post works a treat, and fitted very easily into the older style 27.2mm frame with an external cable. Fitting was very simple, however the lever doesn't fit with a SRAM grip shifter. A bit of judicious cutting and filing of the lever got it sorted...no problem with the now-smaller lever as there is no effort required to activate the dropper.
Ok at best.

Purchased this to work with my ebike so I can drop the saddle for commuting.
Fitting the post was easy enough but cable routing was an issue. Logic prevailed with the included hardware and a bit of trial and error.
Without any dropper post experience this one works ok. It does tend to stick if it is down a little and I want it fully up. I have to push it down first to activate it. I don't know if this is normal.
Also routing the cable to the rear of the post is clumsy but that may be me having no option with my bike.
In practice it works but only ok.

Bought my this dropper for my 10 year son and now he is climbing hills and sending it like a pro!
Does what it says - but remember to grab a lever for it!

Good quality finish, smooth action. I like the plastic cable retainer to keep things tidy when the saddle is down. For an externally routed post it's pretty neat. Exceptionally easy to set up, and only let down slightly by the lack of the excellent KS dropper post lever for your bars. That said, the PNW over-bar lever I bought (afterwards) works perfectly with this post and leaves room for a front shifter or lockout lever below.

I can’t believe how well this dropper post worked and for the price. Now I always have my seat handy for my lazy butt on those frequent climbs.
Better than getting buck in the pants

Had been looking for a dropper post for a while, as I ride a hard tail was sick of getting hit in the arse with the seat. This dropper post has changed my riding so much, able to get the seat out of the way now I can move around the bike better and it’s safer.
