Self Cleaning...awesome

I thought about an update on my review back in Nov 2019
After riding with this Garbaruk cassette for a couple of months now I have realised that the one piece construction enables this cassette to almost self-clean! As the rings on a SRAM or shimano are layered on each other this unit is hollow in the centre, so it allows build-up of grime and dirt to fall out of the cassette...fantastic
should make my chains last longer as well.
And I am loving the lower gear.. 48, lets me conquer more climbs

Finicky but worth the effort

Required a lot of patience to install without stripping the thread. Have to hold the cassette with your hand while slowly slowly tightening and ensuring that the driver splines line up with the slots in the cassette otherwise it spins out of position and jams.

After installation, chain length is critical. Use the images in the instruction leaflet as a template for the angle of the derailleur cage in the biggest and smallest cogs. Set the B limit screw.

With careful installation, correct chain length and some time taken to set the limits of my derailleur properly, this cassette is a dream. Shifts extremely well. If yours doesn't, you haven't read the instructions. RTFM.

Better $/gram ratio than just about any other cassette and almost as rangey as Eagle!

Great option

I ordered this Garbaruk cassette because sram didn't have the wide ratios that I was looking for. I was impressed with the weight saving of 30% compared with my old sram unit as this Garbaruk unit is really lightweight, I'll see how long this cassette lasts, but it does look well made, it fitted easily and so far I really like the gear spacings

Just bought the XD driver 11-46, had gx eagle 11-42, this cassette is magic! First noticed how smooth it is in operation and you cant hear it at all! You feel like the chain fell off. The ratios are just what the doctor ordered too. I have shimano xt on my other bike and I will be changing to Garbaruk on that bike too!

Great way to extend gearing

I bought the 10-46 T 11 speed after I got a new set of wheels with the SRAM XD hub and so far it has been awesome. Easy to install and after tweaking the gear indexing, the SRAM Rival long derailleur is changing without any issues. Love having the extra range for the flat and the hills when bikepacking.

Is this the ultimate cassette to have?

The first thing you notice when you open the box is bling or is it just a well-engineered product to look like bling. After a closer inspection it's the later, the cassette is everything they say it is machined out of one block of crmo steel except for the largest cog. I fitted this cassette to our MTB Tandem that is running White Industries tandem rear XD hub the fit up was very simple with the tool provided in the box and everything works well. I'm currently running the 11 speed 10-46 XD version with Shimano XT M8000RD and Wolftooth Goatlink 11 and Sram GX Eagle chain, shifting is excellent. So far its looks and works excellent and I'm sure the tandem will test it for durability.
