Description
Give your knees a fighting chance when you crash! As much as we try to avoid crashing, its a part of mountain biking that we all have the displeasure of experiencing. To minimise injuries and to give yourself the chance to hop back on your bike, you'll need a good set of kneepads. The Hellion from Dakine strikes the perfect balance between protection and mobility while providing good breathability. With 4-way stretch fabrics, an ergonomic design and adjustable thigh strap, these pads will stay firmly in place without causing any discomfort. Not only to they provide a great fit, the Hellion utilises CE-Certified foam padding a offers side padding as well. Wrapped in an abrasion resistant fabric, these will protect and hold up to all our mistakes! Best of all, they're still comfortable to pedal in!

Note: Please take care as to not pull the knee pads up your leg from the top of the pads as you would a pair of socks. The material is not designed for this and may cause tears. Damage to the knee pads of this nature may not be covered by the manufacturer warranty. We recommend pulling up knee pads from the top and bottom of the pad with care, in a way that avoids stretching the mesh or damaging the stitching.

Wanted to buy these for my girlfriend, looks like a great pad, but despite measuring everything and purchasing medium pads they didn't fit my girlfriend even close, bit of a shame

Got the delivery, went riding, bailed like an idiot, knees unharmed.
Also pretty comfy, good range of motion, didn't overheat yet but wasnt a long session. Make sure you measure your leg correctly.

These offer great protection. I also have the slayers which are good for lighter trail riding but if your looking for total protection for jumps and high speed descents then these are the better choice. Not as comfortable as the slayers but that is to be expected with heavier duty pads. Sizing is definitely on the smaller end as mentioned on other reviews so size up.

I am 40cm at 10cm above my knee (thigh), and have a 36cm calf. The medium size won't even get to my knee. Incorrectly advertised sizing, and you have to pay $11.50 to send it back.

Ordered size L but measurements of the garment did not match published sizing on this website. Couldn't get pads over my calves, but my old fox pads with same measurements fitted perfectly! Cost me another $11 to send the items back - don't waste time/money get fitted at LBS.
