The Buzz Rack E-Hornet Ebike Towball Mount Platform Racks offer convenient mounting, user-friendly functions, and heavy-duty construction for carrying e-bikes.

The large wheel cradles allow stable mounting of tyres up to 4″ wide and support the weight of the bikes. The locking clamp is the perfect solution to attach the bike frame. Simply position the bike on the wheel support. Adjust the clamp position by sliding it around the vertical tubular frame to find the perfect fit with the bike frame. Clamp the frame, attach the wheels using the ratchet straps, lock the clamps.

The E-Hornet sits high on the tow ball, well clear of speed bumps and other hazards such as steep ferry ramps.

Not suitable for trailers, campers, or RV's

How many bikes does it carry: 2 or 3 bikes depending on the model.

How does it carry them:

• The wheel holders will accommodate most wheelbases (not tandem), even small children’s bikes.
• The long rubber-padded wheel straps hold tyres up to 4” wide; pull on them to tighten, and use the quick release to loosen
• The lockable frame arms hold your bikes securely and can be attached to any part of the frame, or the seat post. They can be locked using the same key as the tow ball attachment system.

How much weight can it carry: The maximum permitted load is 60kg, with no bike weighing more than 30kg.

E-Bike rated: Yes indeed. These racks are designed to handle the weight of e-bikes.

How does it mount to the car: The patented conical fitting fits to all tow balls, even to ones that don't quite meet standards for neck length or ball diameter.

Does it tilt or swing to gain access to the vehicle: Tilting is easy, and is very well balanced even with a full load. The rack sits quite high on the tow ball and the tilt function is optimised to prevent the lights from hitting the road surface, using the weight of the bikes to help bring the bike platform back to level in a controlled way.

This geometry doesn’t allow for tall vertical tailgates to be opened – e.g. VW Transporter T5 and T6.

Does it fold up for storage: It can fold down a bit using a simple handle secured with a safety steel clip.

Does it include a lock: The rack itself locks to the car and the frame arms are also lockable. It's still a good idea to add in your own lock if you're planning to leave the bikes unattended for any length of time.

Does it have an integrated licence plate holder / brake / reverse lights: Yes, The E-HORNET comes with a lightboard and a space to mount a number plate.

Plug Type: Comes with a 3 function 7 pin flat plug to suit AUS/NZ vehicles.
