Description

The Prime 9 range of components from Box has made many people rethink what a 9-speed drivetrain is capable of. Box Two is their most durable drivetrain that offers excellent performance, durability, and a competitive weight at a wallet-friendly price point.

Who's this item for: This is for riders looking for all the same range as a 12-speed setup with the simplicity and weight savings of a 9-speed setup. 9-speeds are great for All Mountain style riding but may not appeal to XC racers or those that like to be able to maintain a steady cadence which shifting between gears.

Compatibility: All Prime 9 components are cross-compatible with other levels across the range. All of these components can be purchased separately if you want to mix and match with other Box Prime 9 parts.

E-bike friendly: Yes, The Box Two Prime 9 components are suitable for use on e-bikes when used with the single-release shifter.

The multi-release shifter is not suitable for use on e-bikes.

Not happy with the shifter as it gets stuck moving up the cassette. You have to go down and then back up to try and correct the shifting. The shifter is hard to press and feels like it would break especially when getting stuck.
